In
Affectionate Remembrance
of
THOMAS GREENWOOD,
of HALIFAX, who died January 27th 1875
aged 27 years.

He has gone from a world of affliction & death,

To the home of the righteous, the land of the blest,

Removed from all sorrow, released from all pain,

Triumphant with Jesus for ever to reign.

Also of ELIZABETH, the beloved
wife of JAMES GREENWOOD,
of ACCRINGTON
formerly of HALIFAX, who died
December 13th 1884 aged 55 years,.
Friends and physicians could not save
The mortal body from the grave;

Nor can the grave contain her there;
When Christ doth call her to appear.

Also of the above JAMES GREENWOOD,
who died June 5th 1893 aged 73 years.

This toilsome world I've left behind,
A glorious crown I hope to find,

Mourn not for me, nor sorrow take,
But love each other for my sake.

This Website is indebted to the Calderdale Family History Society for all of the burial information contained in the middle and south sections. The actual burial records have not as yet been found, so only those graves whose inscriptions can be read are included in the database. There are several thousand more burials in this section, but as yet we do not have the information. Details of this can be found on their website www.cfhsweb.com or email their Search Coordinator at search@cfhsweb.com
